Inside Rain on the Glass

Raindrops run down a wall of glass, and the city lights smear into soft gold behind them. Inside there is one warm lamp and a pile of blankets. It is wet out there and dry in here, and that contrast is most of what makes this room work.

The sound is steady rain against the window. It never gets loud and it never lets up; it just keeps the same pace until morning. This is a good room for nights when your thoughts keep circling and you would rather look out of a window for a while.
